Chen Zhengda was born in Jiangsu province China. He graduated from China Academy of Art and became an instructor there. In 2002 he founded his studio. Chen Zhengda is one of the founder and curator of China International Poster Biennial, It has been held 4 times with great success since 2003, the Biennial has been a bridge that connects Chinese graphic design and the world. In 2007 he founded Superdesign Consultant in Hangzhou.In 2010 he founded Shi Fang Culture Commnication in Düsseldolf.
Chen Zhengda received many important awards. Like the judger prize of 2001 China Graphic Design Competition, the silver medal of 2005 Taiwan International Poster Design Award, the bronze award of 2005 Graphic Design in China, the second prize of 2009 the 4th block International Eco Poster and Graphic Triennia, Etc. His works hed be invited to show at many important exhibition such as China Design Now at V&A, Taiwan X-CARE International Design Exhibition, 2008 Beijing Olympics National Art & Design Exhibition at Beijing, POST_:Contemporary International Poster Retrospective at Icograda World Design Congress Beijing 2009,Etc. He also exhibited his works in such biennials and triennials exhibition as Warsaw, Lahti, Chaumont, Brno, Trnava, Kharkov, Toyama, Hongkong, Seoul, Rzeszow, Bolivia, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Etc.
